Valentines Gift Ideas!

Hi guys! So since it is Valentines day soon, I thought I would do a guide to gift ideas using all products form Lush, and you must already know, but their valentines collection has been out since like the start of February! I have tried my hardest to keep this a short one so this post wont be too long! And the Lush valentines collection doesn't have to be for a boyfriend or girlfriend/partner.. but it can if you want! And don't worry if you do not have a partner, these gifts can be for loved ones like family & friends! Orrr you could buy it yourself like me *cringe.* But who DOESNT love Lush?!

So first off, the Prince Charming shower gel, this is so perfect and can be a great gift for anyone, especially if they prefer showers to baths.
Lush Prince Charming Shower Gel. This costs £4.75 for a 100ml bottle & smells so so good, giving this a a present will make anyone happy without breaking the bank.

Lush Heart Throb bubble bar. This is their classic macaroon but in a adorable heart shape glued together by gold glitter! This bubble bar would be a perfect gift because you cant go wrong with a bubble bar. Everyone loves bubbles right? The price for this is £3.65 & I think this is such a bargain!

Lush Love Locket. They are £6.95 & are the biggest bath bomb I have ever seen. You can get so many uses out of this or, if you like to be romantic you could share this with your partner in the tub. What a fabulous way to spend Valentine's together.

And that's all as I said this would be a short post but if you haven't seen their Valentines collection go check all of the products out now!

And I hope you all have a lovely Valentines x

Fitness Routine

Hi guys! In my previous post about resolutions I touched on getting fit and eating healthy and what a perfect time to start it in January. I feel so 'bleurgh' after stuffing myself over Christmas as I just let go and literally ate everything I saw.

My Routine:

I love running so I am going to start taking my dog on the field near my house and run with him because its not only giving my dog exercise, but me getting it too. If I decide not to run I have my own routine I do in my room, and I also use an app called 'seven' and you literally work out for 7 minutes and each day it pushes you more and sets you goals which I really hope I achieve!

Diet:

I have only just started on buying and getting into healthy foods, I would say I am an advocate for fruit and veg and all stuff good for you, especially herbal tea's, but I find it hard to include everything healthy in a meal as normally it tastes funny, probably because i'm doing it wrong! But I love making soups, I have all of the kitchen appliances so it is very helpful to have something to blend your soups.
I always try to have something light for breakfast, so some greek yoghurt with fruit and honey, or just a low calorie yoghurt, this will fill me up till dinner time where I tend to have a pear or a banana, a sandwich and a bottle of water, its such a simple dinner but its something I can easily take in my bag to college or buy if I know its healthy, but I tend to stick to my own sandwiches or sometimes even make a salad with feta cheese! And I struggle at tea time on what to make, I try to make something healthy but I'm struggling for recipes! I love to look on the m&s recipe app because they always show so much interesting foods!

My Fitness Playlist:
  • Go All Night- Gorgon City
  • I Loved You- Blonde
  • Wish You Were Mine- Philip George
  • Buy A Heart- Nicki Minaj
  • Anaconda- Nicki Minaj
  • 7/11- Beyonce
  • Flawless- Beyonce
  • Touch The Sky- Kanye West
  • Scream And Shout- Will.i.am & Britney Spears
  • Rhythm Is A Dancer- SNAP!
  • The Rhythm Of The Night- Corona
These songs motivate me so much and I love them. My fitness routine would not be complete! Oh and here's a pic of my breakfast this morning! It's a slim fast shake which has like 230 calories in and you are supposed to have these shakes for breakfast and lunch and then have a 600 calorie dinner! This is something I feel enthusiastic about because they are so good and don't taste strange like other slimming shakes!

I also love cutting up lemons and putting them in my water just to make my water fun to drink! This is also good if you are peckish and want a snack, the lemon water should make you feel less hungry!

Thanks for reading, It's just a short post I wanted to share with you guys as fitness is something which is crucial to almost everyone on this planet!

December Skincare And Hair Care Empties

Skincare:

Palmers Daily Calming Lotion- This is literally what prevents my skin from breakouts, ever since getting my hands on it in September of last year, (I also did a September skincare empties post) I have been loving it and it reduces my redness because I tend to always have red cheeks and it is a product I use at night time to moisturise, it renewed my skin when I first got it. I have never seen my skin so clear before using it and having spot-prone skin I thought it would just moisturise my face but it has completely got rid of the spots. I bought it just reading what its benefits are for my skin and what ingredients it has in it- which are all natural ingredients, so buying this was random and I love it.

Lush face mask, 'Mask of Magnaminty' - This is something I bought at random also as I wanted to try it after using the 'Brazened honey' mask also from lush which did my skin wonders but the 'Mask of Magnaminty' is for spot-prone skin and I got it in the largest container they do and it has lasted me around 3 months which is good considering what it does for your skin! I feel my skin is so much more spot free and I can go out of the house without wearing foundation or concealer. Its great!

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water- This is a makeup remover, cleanser and toner in one. It takes off most of your makeup with one wipe over your face. I use this when I am in more of a rush in the morning before putting on makeup and sometimes at night to take off stubborn makeup! This is great for people with sensitive skin like me as it is hypoallergenic. It says on the bottle it lasts 200 uses, but mine lasted me just through December. I will be re-purchasing this as it is great to take your makeup off with.

Ted Baker Body Lotion- This is something I bought in September and I have used it ever since. I love the smell as it is just so sweet and such a new smell to me. It makes my skin feel so soft. I was hesitant on this product when I first bought it as I didn't know what it would smell like but i'm very happy I bought it because it is something I love to apply at night to keep my skin soft!

Hair Care:

Wella Thermal Image heat protector- I use this product before I put any heat on it and it is so great. I get this from Sally's (a beauty and hair shop) and I have noticed that I have no split ends! The smell of it reminds me of a fruit salad but mostly watermelon, it smells so yummy and the smell always stays in my hair.

L'oreal Dual Hair Styler in 'Liss and Plump'- Again, I love this product as it gives massive volume to my hair and makes it so soft and shiny and not to forget, 'Liss' is my nickname! This gives a perfect blow-dry and my hair is just nothing without putting this in it.

TRESemme Ultimate Hold hairspray- I use this whenever I style my hair as the hold is great and you can brush it out easy, the smell is so lovely and on the bottle it says it gives a 24hr hold, I cannot say it does because I haven't done an all-nighter with this in my hair but it does last a good few hours and keeps my hair looking great.

And that's all for my December empties!

Happy New Year! My Resolutions.

2015! Wow how fast it has come around.

This post is going to be a brief post about my goals in 2015 and how to make it even better than 2014.

2014 was a great year for me, and also the worst. I found some really great friends and my boyfriend, Isaac. As well as making new friends, I lost great friends too. But all I wish for in this new year are friends, family and my beautiful boyfriend.

My resolutions?

- Keep fit. I have been lacking in exercise for a long time now and have been eating more than I should, so maintaining a healthy balanced diet and moderate exercise is something I aim to do- and something I am persistent to succeed in. I am going to create a schedule and everything! So get ready for some fitness posts!

- Pass my A-Levels with high grades and get into the University I want.

- Grow my nails. This is something I said I would do about 6 months ago. I did really well, but when I am stressed I tend to bite them which isn't good, so as well as growing my nails, I think I'll try some de-stress techniques too.

- Do as much things as you could possibly do. I have got some things already planned like going on holiday with my boyfriend, we are going to Spain in July, and wish to go in March also (on the Easter break)... I would also love to go back to London in December again because it is so magical. But yeah, just do as much things as I can. I want to experience more.

- Get another job... This is something I have wanted to do for a while too but I am not sure if I can manage it with college etc but I'll figure something.

- Keep doing this blog, I truly love writing posts and sharing with people who read. It means a lot to me if even one person reads my posts.

What are your resolutions?

Thanks for reading and happy new year, wishing you a delightful 2015. x

Lush Haul/ SALE

I woke up at half 7 on Boxing day (26th December) to go into town to Lush- for their 50% off sale of course! This sale was just on their Christmas and limited edition products and I really didn't care if it was Christmas stuff, I still love it! So I am going to be talking you through what I bought and their details! I bought bath bombs/shower gel/bubble bars and I am so excited to tell you all what I got!

Bath Bombs:

- Cinders, I bought 2 of these because I had one last year, it doesn't look exciting but it really is! Turning your bath a yellow-ish colour isn't as pleasant as the other bath products but it has popping candy and if you dunk your head under the water like I do (weird, I know) you can hear it crackle! And the smell is so comforting, like a almond/cinnamon type of smell and it is just lovely. I will also be talking about what I have had from Christmas because I got a few bought for me as presents.

- Dashing Santa, I bought just one of these and haven't tried him yet! But he just smells so fresh and light which is good because it is not too overpowering.

- Luxury Lush Pud, I bought 2 because I had one in late September and just loved what it does in your bath. It is a citric smell and I would say it is similar to the Dragons Egg they do, but it is so much more colourful turning your bath a multi-colour and then going darkish. I love this because I am a fan of citrus smells and it makes your skin feel so soft.

- Father Christmas, I had to have one of these because Santa just looked so cute. He smells so sweet but at the same time so fresh and lightly scented. I have never tried this bath bomb before and I am so excited because I feel like there could be a surprise inside like bursting colours, but at the same time, he could just be like the Butterball they also do.

- Northern Lights, I grabbed one of these, I smelt it and thought the scent was quite peculiar for what it looked like, It smells kind of rosey. I have heard many reviews on this, everyone says it is supposed to be great so I grabbed it anyway- you know, because they are all half price.

- Sparkler, I did not buy this as it came in a box my boyfriend bought me for Christmas. The box is called 'Star of Wonder' which also had the Shoot for the stars bath bomb, Snow fairy sparkle massage bar, Star light star bright bath melt, Snow fairy shower gel and Candy mountain bubble bar. He did so well at picking this box because I love everything in it, and the sparkler is so magical with a super delicious scent. (No picture because I have used it already!)

- Butterbear, I got 2 because they were only 98p!!! Bargain! I have never had these but they just smell so comforting and look so cute. Cant wait to try out!

- Dragons Egg, this is my all time favorite bath bomb. It was not in the sale but I just couldn't resist!!!

- Golden Wonder, I got 2 because they look so amazing and have a blue core which makes your bath a turquoise colour! It is a big bath bomb too and I just again, couldn't resist buying two because they also have a surprise- tiny little stars which come out of the bath bomb and smother your bath.

- Shoot For The Stars, This was from a present I was given by my lovely boyfriend. I have not yet used this but it smells so nice and has blue and yellow colours in it.

Bath Melts:

- Melting Snowman, I have had him before and he is so cute and makes your skin feel so so good! I grabbed two. They don't have a strong scent but are soothing and after a long and hard day I would use one of these because they make you feel sleepy and soothe you. It is perfect to have just before bed.

- Star Light, Star Bright, this came in a gift box too off my boyfriend, I was not keen on the glitter because it stuck to my bath afterwards, but it made my skin feel so smooth and turned my bath water a turquoise colour which I found super cool! The smell was lemony. (Already used it so no pic!)

-Snow Angel, when I first picked this up, it didn't smell interesting, however, I was intrigued by the amount of glitter on the bottom of the melt. It just looked very exciting and something i'd love to use in my bath.

Bubble Bars:

- Candy Mountain, Ok so one was in the gift box off my boyfriend and I love it, I always get it a Christmas because the smell is divine, I also bought 2 because they are just so cute and smell like old fashioned sweets!

- Christmas Eve, I got this because it was different to the other bubble bars, it was round and has 2 colours and the smell is floral and fresh, I'm thinking of using this in the morning to wake me up!

- The Christmas Hedgehog, sooooo cute! I had mistaken him for a bath melt because he is so slippery but he is definitely a bubble bar, he smells so sweet and cannot wait to bubble my bath up with him!

- The Christmas Penguin, this one is also so cute, he smells a bit like jasmine and I love it. I cant wait to use him as the candy mountain turns your bath water a light pink if you use a lot- oops... so im pretty sure the penguin will turn my water blue..

Shower Gel:

- Snow Fairy! I love this sooooo much, it smells so nice, the scent stays on you literally all day too. I have two because I just don't want to run out :(

Massage bars:

- Snow Fairy Sparkle, I used this once on my arms and I smelt so delicious. It is so exciting as it gives a shimmer to your skin too.

Christmas Day Outfit Ideas/ Monochrome and Bronze

Hi guys! I wanted to make some Christmas day inspired looks because I went shopping yesterday and found so much stuff I wanted but I couldn't spend anything on myself as my shopping was for presents. However, I have found the things I loved in stores online and put them into all of the outfits I have put together! I know from personal experience that finding something to wear is quite challenging as if you are just in with your family, you want to be comfy but still look 'dressed' up.

Look #1

This look is a silvery and sequin style look. I went for the crop top because it is a high neck and I just think the style of top is very lovely to wear and is appropriate for Christmas if you are spending it with family. The Pandora earrings are also so pretty and would look so beautiful if you had your hair up in a bun, or if your hair is short- say like a pixie cut, they would look so lovely. I chose the heels- which are optional because they add an extra shininess to your outfit without being too over the top. A berry or deep red lip would suit this outfit because it is monochrome, which yes, may be boring for Christmas, but that's just me!

Look #2

Ok, so this look is what I would call daring. The Ted Baker skirt is absolutely beautiful but I don't think I could pull it off with my petite legs, I still love the sequin on the skirt because they just shout out Christmas! The Mac eye shadow is also a staple of this month, gold and browns are the most popular option to wear on your eyes and everyone suits the colour. The naked palette is an example of being on trend- everyone has gone mad on them and they are so popular! The bra-let from Topshop is also gorgeous as the lace also shouts out Christmas!

Look #3

This dress is from All Saints and I just think it is so adorable, for Christmas day, this will look so nice paired with the heels and a berry lip. I love the lace as you can probably tell from look #2. You cannot ever have too much lace! It just gives extra detail and I personally think it looks so good against your skin. This look would be complete with loose curls and some gold earrings and a pretty bracelet.

Thank you for reading, I hope you have a fabulous Christmas! x

L'Oreal Dual Stylers/ Product Review

Hi guys! So I have grabbed me some L'Oreal Dual Stylers, their products- I believe are fairly new as I have read some reviews. I have been a very lucky girl to try these out and obviously the first one I tried is the green one (which is called 'Liss and plump'... I believe this gives you volume and after washing my hair I towel dried my hair until it was damp and put some of the product through the ends. I love how there is a tube within the tube, the outer layer is a gel texture whereas the inside tube is a creamy type substance. And my gosh, the smell is so lovely, I tend to find some hair styling products to smell a bit funny or too fragrant but when I blow dry and style my hair after using this product it is a smell that lingers but is not overpowering. This is a good thing for me because I am very fussy when it comes to scents! It does say that when you use this product- which is meant to be used when you blow dry your hair- which is what I do everyday, that the blow dry lasts up to 72 hours, this is great but I haven't noticed that my hair has stayed in its place for 72 hours as I like to put my hair up when I get home from going out.

The products are for a different look you want, so the 'Liss and plump' one is for volume which I agree with because my hair has no volume at all. And I have a middle parting, which sometimes looks silly when I have no volume or texture in my hair, but this product helped my roots to bounce up almost, and my hair did look more visibly voluminous.

I do also like the 'Sleek and swing' product from their range too because it makes your hair so soft which I struggle with because I have small highlights in my hair, which dries it out giving my hair a matte look when really, I want it to be shiny. However, I feel it reduces the volume of your hair. If you want shiny and natural flowing hair- (like when you swish your head side to side and it makes your hair 'flow') then this should be the product to use.

And last but not least, there is the 'Bouncy and tender' which is supposed to give you perfect and defined curls. If you have natural curly or wavy hair and want to extenuate them, this would be something I advise you to use when styling your hair. My hair has a natural wave but is also frizzy which makes my hair hard to style, which makes me stick to straightening it. Which is so bad for your hair if you use heat tools everyday. So I gave this a go, however, I did use my hairdryer, spraying on some heat protector, and I felt it gave my curls more of a bounce and the frizz was barely noticeable. The bounce in the curls also made my hair look like it was curled with curling tongues. This is the least effort product as you wouldn't need to put heat on your hair as much or style it as much as you would have to with the other two products.

.Here is where you can find out more about the products.

Thanks for taking your time to read this x

London Inspired Outfits/ NUDE

I have put together this look after being inspired in London. It is such a beautiful and photogenic city. I was inspired by the colours in the city and what I perceive the 'street' style in London is like.

I love nude and pink colours at the moment, I just think anyone can pull it off, but I think it would look perfect on more tanned people like Kim Kardashian. And as you can see, she rocks it.

I love the strap heels and the jewelry, it gives a edgier look which completes the dress

I am going to put together 2 outfits, a daytime and a night time (More dressy.)

Day Time:
I chose to put together some leggings and a nude blouse because this is something I would opt for in the daytime as it is simple to accessorize with and so comfy! I am adding this cream faux fur coat to the outfit because in this weather everyone needs a fur coat. They are the perfect coat or layer to wear with leggings and a blouse because it gives an elegant touch. And the boots- how gorgeous- right?! I paired these with the outfit because they are just so fashionable, even if they are black they are a statement to your outfit because of the triangle shape. The jewelry is pretty simple but gives a Kardashian touch. I love bracelets and cuffs, so I had to choose a silver one to match the zips on the boots. You could always wear gold or rose gold jewelry too as this is something many people love to do, but for me, I like to stick to one colour for jewelry- no idea why! I do however love the Pandora wrap around bracelets, they are so beautiful and you can wear them on their own or with a watch (which is what I do) I have a pink one as I think it is the most adorable one, but you can choose from multiple colours.

Night Time:
For the night time look I used all of the jewelry as you could wear this throughout the day going on into the night. However, I changed the shoes and swapped the top and bottoms for a skirt and crop top. The skirt is leather look which is so gorgeous, the colour is a dark-ish nude which looks fabulous on all people. The heels are similar to what Kim would wear.
